Is IPT for you?
What is IPT/ and IPTLD™
The name IPT (Insulin Potentiation Therapy) has recently been changed to IPTLD™ (Insulin Potentiation Targeted Low Dose).
IPTLD™ is the current name (researched, reserved and assigned in 2007 by Annie Brandt and the Board of Directors of the Best Answer for Cancer Foundation to more accurately describe the therapy) for that same procedure. Only the name has changed to better represent the technique; the therapy remains the same. Throughout this site, you will see both names. Please consider them synonymous.
Insulin Potentiation Targeted LowDose™ Therapy (IPTLD™) is a kinder, gentler way of using FDA-approved chemotherapy drugs to fight cancer. While searching for a way to selectively deliver drugs to diseased cells only, Dr. Donato Perez Garcia I discovered this treatment in 1929. His development of the therapy led him to try it on cancer in 1946, with great success. With this approach, your immune system and vital body organs stay working and you have almost no side effects. This means you should not lose your hair, you should not be nauseous and your blood counts should stay normal….…generally speaking you feel great.
Patients report that IPTLD™ therapy gives them better quality-of-life than those of conventional chemotherapy…lets them beat cancer while living life fully…Thriving while Surviving! Read more about IPTLD™.
What do we mean by a kinder, gentler chemotherapy?
Most people hear chemotherapy and react with fear. Did you know that 40 percent of chemotherapy patients reported side effects as their biggest concern compared to 32 percent who thought surviving cancer was their biggest concern? That is because we have all seen friends, relatives, or just John Q. Public devastated by the effects of their chemotherapy.
IPTLD™ offers the patient the ability to have the power of the chemo directed only to their cancer cells, not their entire body. This approach eliminates or significantly reduces the dreaded side-effects of conventional chemo. Read more about IPTLD™
